With advanced technology and versatile design, this innovative range of heated clothing and gloves ensures you’re always ready for the road ahead. The ThermaVolt Heated Collection brings you an intelligent system of heated midlayer garments, including a jacket, trousers, and socks. Each piece can be worn separately or interconnected for full-body warmth, giving you the flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and your own preferences. Further flexibility is designed in to allowing you to connect to either your motorcycle’s 12V battery or using Merlin’s portable high capacity battery pack. Whether you’re braving a frosty morning commute or tackling a winter tour, ThermaVolt has you covered. Combine with Merlin’s Heated Gloves for a full body heating system during the cold winter months.
Merlin ThermaVolt Heated Midlayer Jacket
Made to sit between a base-layer and outer jacket, the ThermaVolt apparel is a thinner, lighter alternative to other heated products. As a mid-layer, the ThermaVolt features micro carbon fibre heated panels within the chest, back and sleeves to ensure riders get heat where needed the most.
The ThermaVolt jacket and matching trouser (purchased separately) are able to raise your core temperature and retain the warmth it provides. It is fitted with our Heat Reflection System, which is a very thin film on the inside of the shell fabric, that reflects heat that would otherwise be lost, back into the user. This makes the ThermaVolt more efficient.
Plug straight into a 12v bike battery using the connecting cable which is supplied with the jacket, or alternatively power up using the high capacity 6,000mAh battery pack which can be purchased separately. The ThermaVolt jacket features three heat settings which are all controlled by the Merlin power unit. The Merlin controller comes with a battery level indicator. Also, riders can connect the jacket to the ThermaVolt matching midlayer trouser using a Y connector cable.
This jacket is also suited to be worn as a stand-alone garment during outdoor activities, whether that your daily dog walk in the morning, fishing or hiking, for example.
